Once upon a time, I run an experimental and surrealist film night and a community cinema.
Elsewhere Cinema launched in 2013, screening films chosen for their experimental, surrealist and humanist goodness. After two years of screening from Liverpool's hidden independent venues, we joined the Liverpool Small cinema programming team. This also led to devising the 58% programming initiative to increase screenings dedicated to films directed by Women, Trans and Non-Binary directors.
